Robbert Lohmann, MSc is one of the founders of 2getthere and its chief commercial cfficer. In addition he serves as a board member of the 2getthere Asia and 2getthere Middle East joint ventures. As such, he is responsible for all commercial activities, strategy and partnerships. He has been in the automated transit industry since 1999, working on systems for the port industry, entertainment parks and public transit. He was responsible on behalf of 2getthere for obtaining the orders for the applications at Floriade 2002, Masdar City, Bluewaters Island, Rivium extension and the Brussels Airport projects as well as several studies and projects in the port and entertainment industries. He also served as the project director (2009-2014) for the Masdar City project, the world’s first PRT system open to the general public on 28 November 2010. He assumed the same role for several projects in the entertainment industry with 2getthere as subcontractor to its partner Oceaneering. From 2014 through 2017, he served as the chief operations officer of the company. In addition, he is a board member of the Advanced Transit Association.
